We’re thrilled to share that OneInMath is expanding in North Texas this fall! Thanks to the dedication and leadership of Jiya Madan, a senior at Independence High School, the program is now being offered at Little Elm Public Library, Lake Dallas Public Library, Decatur Public Library, and Flower Mound Public Library (2 sections).
Jiya’s Journey of Leadership
Jiya’s story began in 10th grade when she established the very first OneInMath chapter in the Dallas area at Little Elm Public Library. Since then, she has shown tremendous growth in leadership and responsibility, passionately driving the mission of OneInMath forward.
Her initiative and motivation led her to expand the program independently this fall, creating new opportunities for children and families across multiple communities. Jiya is already planning for further chapters in the near future!
A Glimpse into the Program
Here’s a look at our sessions in action, where dedicated volunteers help young learners build math confidence and skills:

Why This Expansion Matters
- For Students (K–3): OneInMath offers free, structured tutoring that helps kids develop strong foundations in math and reduce anxiety around the subject.
- For Families: More children across North Texas now have access to a supportive and engaging environment for learning.
- For the Community: This expansion strengthens the network of volunteers and educators making a positive local impact.
A Note of Appreciation
The OneInMath Team is incredibly proud to see Jiya’s journey over the past two years. Her initiative, compassion, and leadership have inspired everyone around her.
👏 Congratulations, Jiya, on this fantastic achievement!
