PURPOSE
You will have the responsibilities of a tutor, except that you will not have a fixed set of assigned students. You will tutor difficult students, or students of tutors assigned to a tutor if the tutor is absent. Additionaly, you will assist the session lead in running the classes efficiently, monitoring the class and assisting students as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Tutor difficult students, and when a given tutor is absent. See tutor responsibilities.
- Assist Session Leader in running the class successfully.
- Work with special needs children if any.
- Attend classes and regular meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Loves working with young kids.
- Earned B or higher in high school math courses.
- Ages 13-18.
COMMITMENT
- 2 hours per week
- 1 hour of class time, plus 30 minutes before class and 30 minutes after class. See Classes / Locations for the class times every week.
- Commitment for at least one session.
- Have a laptop to bring to the class.
